Dana Shapiro

Dana Shapiro is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience across leading organizations, including AstraZeneca and GE Capital. In the current role as Alexion Finance Integration Director at AstraZeneca, Dana spearheads the global integration of the Alexion finance function post-acquisition, successfully securing over $30M in funding for a two-year program. Previous positions include serving as Chief of Staff to the CFO, managing finance governance, and co-developing a business case for tax transformation. Dana's career began at GE with a focus on corporate auditing and finance management, culminating in a dual Master's degree in Innovation, Creativity, and Leadership from City, University of London and Cass Business School, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
