Daniela Cornacchia is currently the Director of Advanced Cell Model Innovation in Safety Sciences at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2022. Daniela has extensive experience in cancer research, having served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2013 to 2021, and as a Visiting Investigator at The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, Daniela was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory from 2008 to 2013 and earned a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology there. Daniela also holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Ulm, Germany.
