Darren Stead is an experienced chemist with a strong background in medicinal chemistry and organic chemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca since June 2014, Darren previously held the role of Senior Research Scientist within the same company. Prior experience includes working as a Lead Chemist at Peakdale Molecular from January 2008 to June 2014 and completing a Sandwich Student placement at MSD in August 2003. Darren earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and a Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree, both from the University of York, where studies spanned from 2000 to 2008.
