Deanna Mele

Deanna Mele is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of business development and research within the biotechnology sector. At AstraZeneca from November 2017 to May 2023, Deanna held multiple roles, culminating as Senior Director of Business Development Search & Evaluation, with previous titles as Associate Director and Associate Principal Scientist in Immuno-Oncology. Prior to AstraZeneca, Deanna worked as a Scientist II at Constellation Pharmaceuticals from July 2009 to January 2015 and began a career as a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School from August 2001 to August 2002. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine and an MS in Molecular Biology from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
