Vice President Oncology Regulatory Affairs Strategy at AstraZeneca

Deborah Mackenzie is an accomplished regulatory affairs leader with extensive experience in oncology at AstraZeneca since September 2014, currently serving as Vice President of Oncology Regulatory Affairs Strategy. Deborah has strategic oversight of a robust oncology small molecule portfolio, including notable products like Lynparza, Tagrisso, and Selumetinib, and is an active member of the leadership team. As a regulatory representative, Deborah contributes to key governance bodies and ensures submission excellence while mentoring regional Regulatory Affairs Directors and Global Regulatory Leads. Previous roles include Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs for the UK Oncology RAD Group and positions as Director/Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Global Regulatory Lead within AstraZeneca's oncology, neuroscience, and pain therapeutic areas. Deborah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Biochemistry from Aston University and a Master's Degree in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham.
