Derek Marren is a Senior Director and Principal IT Capability Business Partner, currently leading the Preclinical Sciences IT Capability and serving as the AI Lead for Research. They have extensive experience in informatics solutions, having held various senior roles at Pfizer, including Global Program Manager and Associate Director for Informatics. Previously, they worked at AstraZeneca as Principal IT Business Manager and now serve as Principal IT Capability Business Partner. Derek also contributes to the OPENPHACTS Foundation as a Board Member and Trustee. They earned a BSc with honors from The University of Glasgow.
