Elin Sand

Elin Sand is currently a Director at AstraZeneca, bringing a robust background in the research industry and academia. They hold a PhD in Medical Physiology from Lund University, where their work focused on neurogastroenterology. Previously, Elin served as a Postdoc at Lund University, investigating gastrointestinal dysfunction related to GnRH analogs and developing an experimental model for neuronal loss. They have also contributed as a Member of the Editorial Board for Föräldrakooperativet Lövet and held various roles at AstraZeneca, including Associate Director and Senior Scientist in Pathology. Additionally, Elin led GI Research Consultant, fostering connections in gastrointestinal research across healthcare sectors.
