Fabien Garçon

Fabien Garçon is currently an Associate Principal Scientist in Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca, where they lead the development of an ex-vivo patient-derived tumor slice model to aid cancer drug discovery. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist focusing on Research and Early Development in Immuno-Oncology, Cell Therapy, and Cell Engagers. Fabien's earlier research experiences include roles as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Babraham Institute, where they worked on various projects related to tumor immunology and T cell function. They earned a PhD in Biology and Immunology from Aix-Marseille University, where they also completed a Master DEA in Immunology.
