Gratiela Popescu

Gratiela Popescu is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily with AstraZeneca since December 2010. Currently serving as CFO of the UK Marketing Company, Gratiela has demonstrated expertise in leading commercial teams, managing significant budgets over $600 million, and championing inclusion and diversity initiatives. Previous roles include Area Finance Director for Western and Southern Europe, where Gratiela was responsible for a $1 billion P&L and strategic investment decisions, as well as Country President for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, overseeing a $55 million budget and 120 employees. Educational credentials include degrees from ASE Bucharest and participation in leadership development programs at Harvard, INSEAD, and London Business School.
