Ian C. Scott is a scientific leader in pharmaceutical research and development at AstraZeneca, specializing in translational science, experimental medicine, and biomarker discovery. They have extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of drug development, from pre-clinical target validation to late-stage clinical projects. With a strong background in inflammatory diseases and over 45 peer-reviewed publications, Ian has demonstrated expertise in both small molecule and biologics drug discovery. They previously held significant roles at MedImmune, Smith and Nephew, and Roche, and earned a Ph.D. from The University of Manchester.
