Ian Cavanagh

Ian Cavanagh is currently the Regional Lean Director for Biologics at AstraZeneca, where they are responsible for driving lean initiatives across the organization. Ian has previously served as the Director of Lean Centre of Excellence at AstraZeneca and held various roles at companies such as BAE Systems, Safran Nacelles, and Airbus, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence. With a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester, they have cultivated a diverse career in operational roles and consultancy, contributing to performance enhancement in several manufacturing environments.
