Ingrid Mayer

Ingrid Mayer is the Vice-President and Global Clinical Strategy Head for Breast Cancer at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2021. With extensive experience in late-stage breast cancer oncology, Ingrid leads the development of innovative therapies and collaborates across various teams to shape clinical strategies. Previously, Ingrid served as a Professor of Medicine and Oncology Section Head at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Ingrid holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Medicine from the Federal University of Sao Paulo, and completed specialized training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
