Ivayla Gyurova

Ivayla Gyurova, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Global Study Manager in Cell Therapy Clinical Operations at AstraZeneca since September 2025. Prior to this, Ivayla held several key positions at Sana Biotechnology, Inc., including Director of Immunology Research Operations and Associate Director of Cell Therapy Program Management. Experience also includes a role as a Scientist in Cell Therapy, where Ivayla led significant validation projects and team management. Earlier academic positions included Graduate Research Assistant roles at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where Ivayla conducted impactful research in immunology and molecular biology. Educational credentials include a PhD in Pathobiology and Molecular Medicine and a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics.
