Jared Delmar is an accomplished professional in the field of analytical sciences, currently serving as Associate Director at AstraZeneca since July 2021, where responsibilities include acting as CMC analytical lead for four programs through Phase III and managing a team of seven scientists. Prior to this role, Jared worked at MedImmune from August 2017 to July 2021, progressing through titles from Scientist I to Senior Scientist while supporting biochemical and biophysical characterization of therapeutic proteins and monoclonal antibodies. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at Ames Laboratory from August 2012 to May 2017, where contributions led to 13 peer-reviewed publications and the discovery of seven new crystal structures in antibiotic resistance-related proteins. Additionally, Jared served as an AGEP Teaching Fellow at Iowa State University from August 2011 to May 2017, overseeing the design and instruction of introductory physics courses for 60-80 students each semester. Jared holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
