Jingyu Luan

Jingyu (Julia) Luan, PhD, RAC, has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, currently serving as Executive Regulatory Science Director at AstraZeneca since May 2024. In this role, Luan oversees the global regulatory strategy for cardiovascular and metabolism disease areas and contributes to the research and commercialization of related products. Previously held positions at AstraZeneca include Director and Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs, where Luan led teams to develop innovative regulatory strategies and engage with various health authorities. Luan's career also includes roles as a Statistical Consultant at the University of Kentucky, Mathematical Statistician at the FDA, and Research Faculty at Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in Statistics from Renmin University of China.
