John Stone

John Stone is a Global Clinical Leader specializing in Cell Therapy Oncology at AstraZeneca, where they currently serve as the Senior Group Director for the GPC3 CAR-T program. They previously held positions as a Senior Principal Medical Scientist and Clinical Research Manager at AstraZeneca, contributing to early phase oncology drug development. Prior to their tenure at AstraZeneca, Stone was the Director of Translational Medicine at GSK, leading projects in immuno-inflammation therapies. They began their career in clinical research at companies such as Ethical Pharmaceuticals, PPD, and Acambis. Stone earned their degree from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
