Karima Tanfous is a Tunisian lawyer with admission to both the Tunisian Bar and the New York State Bar. After graduating with an LL.B in legal sciences (magna cum laude) and earning a Master's degree in Business Law (magna cum laude) from Université de Carthage, Karima obtained a Specialized Master’s degree in Tax Law (magna cum laude) in 2008. With extensive experience in legal roles, Karima currently serves as the Head of Legal for GCC & Pakistan at AstraZeneca and has held positions at various multinational firms, including Shire and Baxter International Inc. Additionally, Karima has a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law from UC Davis Law School, where they received a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in International Human Rights. Fluent in multiple languages, Karima specializes in areas such as Tax Law, Corporate Law, and International Human Rights.
