Kerri Schray, PhD, currently serves as IP Director at AstraZeneca since October 2024. With extensive experience in intellectual property law, Kerri previously held the position of Director, Patent Counsel at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2022 to October 2024 and served as Sr IP Counsel at Thermo Fisher Scientific from April 2016 to January 2022. Additional roles include Senior Patent Attorney at GNF, Intellectual Property Counsel at Quest Diagnostics, and Intellectual Property Manager at Athena Diagnostics, among others. Kerri's legal career began at Takeda Oncology as a Senior Patent Attorney. Kerri holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School, a PhD in Biochemistry from UMass Chan Medical School, and a BS in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
