Laura Carter

Laura Carter is currently the Global VP HR Corporate, Enabling at AstraZeneca. Prior to this, they were the HR Director EMEA at Georgia-Pacific LLC from January 2006 to December 2011. Before that, Laura was the European HR Leader at Cytec Solvay Group from January 2005 to December 2006. Laura began their HR career at Danone as the HR Director from January 2001 to December 2005. Laura started their professional career as an HR Manager at Virgin Media from January 1995 to December 2000.

Laura Carter has a degree in law from the University of Manchester, as well as a master's degree in human resources and industrial relations. Laura also has a PhD in philosophy from the same school. In addition to their academic credentials, Laura Carter has also taken a course in screenwriting at the University of East Anglia.
