Laura Murek

Laura Murek, MBA, is currently the Project Manager and Americas Team Leader for Global Meetings & Events within Global Commercial Operations at AstraZeneca. With a proven track record in executing complex events, they have effectively overseen and motivated project managers, ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to budgetary constraints. Prior to this role, Laura managed events at Montgomery County Agricultural Center, significantly increasing sponsorship and vendor revenue. They also owned Exit 6B, where they honed their project management skills in high-pressure environments with artists internationally. Laura is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Delaware and has completed an MBA at the University of Maryland University College.
