Magnus Andersson

Magnus Andersson is a Senior Director of Biostatistics at AstraZeneca, where they apply extensive statistical expertise across all phases of drug development, from First Time in Man to Post Marketing. With fluency in multiple programming languages including SAS and R, Magnus has led the statistical analysis for numerous regulatory submissions in the EU, US, and Japan, and has co-authored various peer-reviewed publications on large clinical outcomes trials. Previously, they held roles as Global Product Statistician and Biometrics Team Lead at AstraZeneca, contributing significantly to the design and evaluation of pharmaceutical development programs. Magnus also has previous experience as a statistician and database designer at Unisource Business Networks, and served as the chairman of Föräldrakooperativet Illbattingen, overseeing operations at a cooperative preschool. Magnus earned a Master of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Göteborgs universitet.
