Margie Li

Margie Li is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in oncology research and development, having held multiple leadership positions at AstraZeneca from April 2019 to May 2024, including Global Product Leader and Executive Director of Oncology R&D Strategy. Prior to this, Margie served as Senior Director and Head of Lifecycle and Planning for the Oncology Business Unit. In addition to a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, Margie has a rich history in education, having worked as a Gallery Instructor at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, where a Ph.D. was earned in Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Margie's academic contributions include mentoring graduate students and introducing initiatives to enhance discussions within the Harvard Women in Chemistry organization. Margie began academic training at Duke University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry.
