Mario Gómez, MD, is an accomplished executive medical affairs leader with a strong background in gastroenterology, dermatology, and immunology. Currently serving as the US Medical Head for Immunology at AstraZeneca, Mario drives strategies that significantly impact patient care, particularly in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Previously, Mario held the position of US Medical Affairs Head for Gastroenterology at Johnson & Johnson, where they led successful product launches and evidence generation initiatives.
