Mike Quayle

Mike Quayle is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, currently serving as Senior Director of Material Design for Oral Product Development at AstraZeneca since April 2007. Their extensive roles at AstraZeneca include leadership in various positions focused on material design, particle engineering, and process optimization for oral and parenteral development. Prior to this, Mike held academic roles at the University of Leeds and served as Technology Manager at Nexia Solutions, where Mike provided technical leadership in nuclear clean-up strategies. Previous experience also includes research roles at British Nuclear Fuels and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, along with international collaboration at St. Petersburg State University. Mike holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from The University of Salford.
