Nathaniel Ashburn

Nathaniel Ashburn is the Associate Director of Data Science at AstraZeneca, following a prior role as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company. They earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering, both with honors, from the University of Virginia, where they also contributed as a researcher and teaching assistant. Previously, Nathaniel worked as a Design Automation Intern at Rolls-Royce and served as a researcher in various capacities at the University of Virginia's Center for Applied Biomechanics and other institutions. Their early work experience includes lifeguarding at the Weinstein JCC.
