Olivier Nijhuis

Olivier Nijhuis has extensive experience in clinical operations and supply chain management, currently serving as Director of Business Process Optimization at AstraZeneca since September 2016. Notably, Olivier led a global project for COVAX, overseeing the supply and donation of over 280 million COVID-19 vaccines. Previous roles at AstraZeneca include Head of Quality for Oral Solid Dose and API in Sweden Operations and First Line Manager for Production, where responsibilities encompassed the validation and qualification of manufacturing processes. Olivier's career commenced at Russell Reynolds Associates as a Research Assistant, focusing on market analyses and client presentations. Olivier holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Management from the University of Amsterdam, graduating cum laude, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Maastricht University.
