Puja Sapra

Puja Sapra is a highly experienced leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of R&D Biologics Engineering and Oncology Targeted Discovery at AstraZeneca since July 2020. Prior to this role, Puja held various senior positions at Pfizer from October 2009 to July 2020, including Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of the Targeted Therapeutics Unit. Early career experience includes roles at Enzon Pharmaceuticals and Immunomedics. Puja holds a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree in pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde, along with a background from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
