Saran Baskaran

Saran Baskaran currently serves as Associate Director of R&D for Combination Products at AstraZeneca, following a role as Senior Device Engineer where leadership in combination product development and cross-departmental initiatives were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes a tenure at Ondine Biomedical Inc. as Senior Product Development Engineer, contributing to innovative photo-disinfection systems, as well as significant achievements in product design verification. Saran’s early career also encompassed roles as a Biomedical Engineering Intern and Research Assistant at Cornell University, focusing on drug delivery systems and microfluidic technologies. Saran holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Jakarta International School.
