Sonja Stewart

Sonja Stewart is currently the Head of Business Planning & Operations for Oncology Regulatory Science & Strategy at AstraZeneca, a position held since 2019. Previously, from 2013 to 2019, Sonja served as the Director of Strategic Planning in US Medical Affairs at the same company. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Sonja was the Associate Director of Technical Project Management at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 1993 to 2005, and held the role of Director within the Chief of Staff Office at Medimmune from 2009 to 2013. Sonja holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Frostburg State University, earned between 1986 and 2001.
