Yigit Akay

Yigit Akay is a Senior Finance Manager with over 10 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, and commercial finance. Currently, at AstraZeneca, Yigit manages the P&L for the Oncology business across the UK, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic planning. Previously, Yigit held various finance roles at GE, including as a Financial Analyst and within the Financial Management Program, contributing to financial analysis and long-term forecasting across multiple global locations. Yigit earned a Master's degree in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bilkent University.
