Arvin Tang

Arvin Tang is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in multimedia systems and analytics, currently serving as the Director at ASTRI - Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute since April 2015. Tang has expertise in applying machine learning and computer vision technology across various domains, including document processing, augmented/virtual reality, and medical image processing. Prior positions include Deputy Director and Manager of Computer Vision at ASTRI, Lecturer at The Open University of Hong Kong, and Project Manager at The University of Hong Kong, where Tang managed projects related to 3D image processing technologies.
