Bruce Szczepankiewicz

Bruce Szczepankiewicz has extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Bruce started their career at Abbott Laboratories in 1995, where they worked as a Research Investigator in Chemistry for over 11 years. In 2007, they joined Sirtris Pharmaceuticals and held various positions including Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Research Fellow in Chemistry. Bruce'sresponsibilities at Sirtris Pharmaceuticals included chemical synthesis, route development for new scaffolds, preparation of biochemical reagents, and early process development.

In 2013, Bruce worked as the Vice President of Chemistry at Nidares, Inc. Bruce'srole involved procuring laboratory facilities, synthesizing key reagents, and identifying outsourcing partners. Bruce Szczepankiewicz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University at Buffalo from 1987 to 1990. Bruce then pursued a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1990 to 1995. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they briefly attended Cornell University in 1986, although the degree obtained and field of study during that time are unknown.
