Michael Skaggs is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Cybersecurity Engineer and Subject Matter Expert at Astrion since April 2024. From October 2014 to October 2023, Skaggs held multiple senior positions at ARMA Global Corporation, including Chief Information Security Officer and Chief IT Engineer for AFSOC programs. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Systems Security Specialist at Jacobs and a Senior Security Engineer at Lehman Brothers. Skaggs began a career in cybersecurity as a Senior Network Engineer and Team Lead at McNeil Technologies, following service as an NCO in the United States Air Force. Skaggs holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of West Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from William Carey University, and an Associate Degree in Information Systems Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
