Each design begins as a simple drawing within their sketchbooks; these ideas are then realised using quality componentry, materials, and tooling, as timeless luminaires for hospitality and luxury residential projects. Co-founder and design director, James Bassant, continues to lead their in-house design and engineering team at their headquarters in West Essex, United Kingdom. The team maintain the brand’s pursuit of excellence, which several global awarding bodies acknowledge. Astro is a proud recipient of prestigious industry accolades such as the RedDot award, the Archiproduct Design award, and the Queen's Award for International Trade.
