Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad

Tai joined the Group on 21 November 2022 as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

With over 20 years of marketing and commercial experience, he is responsible for spearheading Sales and Marketing as it becomes increasingly crucial. He will strive to ensure the Group maximises the value of Astro’s offerings by integrating marketing and sales efforts to deliver the best entertainment and connectivity experience to Malaysians.

Prior to joining Astro, Tai was Maxis' Head of Brand & Marketing with breakthroughs in Solution Partnerships, Innovation & Ventures and Digital Marketing during that span of time. Before that, he led P&L and operational responsibilities to develop the Home Broadband and Fibre business as part of the converged solutions ambition in Maxis.

Tai also held roles in Singapore as Managing Director of Rapp Singapore and Chief Strategy Officer at DDB Group, and in Malaysia as Head of Strategic Planning at Naga DDB after early career stints in Leo Burnett.

He is an Advertising & Mass Comm graduate from Institute of Advertising and Communications, and has an NCC diploma in Computer Studies from Sunway College.
