Jim Bell

Jim Bell is an experienced cost estimator and account executive with a strong background in manufacturing and quality management. Since April 2017, Jim has served as a Senior Cost Estimator at Star Precision Technologies, LLC, focusing on cost estimation and sales. Previously, Jim held the position of Sr. Cost Estimator/Account Executive at Astro Manufacturing & Design for nearly 17 years, overseeing quoting and cost estimating functions while maintaining key sales accounts. At Astro Model Development, Jim has also contributed as a Cost Estimator/Account Executive since May 1982. Jim's career includes roles such as Quality Manager, General Machining Supervisor, and Machinist, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in quality functions, job routing, and machining. Jim began the career path in tool and die apprenticeship at Ankar Tool & Die and Mold Masters, culminating in a formal education in Tool & Die and Mold Making from Max Hayes Vocational and Lakeland College.
