Shekar Sarawanan

Shekar Sarawanan is the Head of Broadcast Engineering at Astro since November 2011. Shekar also holds the title of AVP for Regional, Content & Delivery Technology. Prior to their current role, Shekar served as AVP for Broadcast Systems & Integration at MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd from November 2011 to January 2023. Shekar had also worked as a Senior Engineer at Aljazeera International from May 2006 to October 2011 and at Astro from 2000 to 2006. Shekar Sarawanan holds a degree in Bsc Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
