Elias Alvarez Granda

Elias Alvarez Granda has over 15 years of work experience in the software development field. Elias is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Astrocast since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sigmalis as a Senior Software Developer from February 2017 to January 2022. Elias also has experience as a Software Developer Consultant at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) from June 2016 to January 2017, and as a Software Development Consultant at Vaudoise Assurances from January 2016 to May 2016. Elias has also worked as a Web Developer at Lombard Odier Group from May 2015 to October 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Developer Consultant at SGS from October 2013 to May 2015, and as a Software Development Engineer at CERN from October 2008 to September 2013. Elias also held various other software development roles at Buhodra Ingeniería S.A. and B2B2000.

Elias Alvarez Granda obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (Ingeniería Informática) from Universidad de Oviedo, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Technical Computer Engineering (Ingeniería Técnica Informática) at the same university, from 2000 to 2004.

Additionally, Elias has earned various certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation in IT Service Management certification from EXIN. In 2016, they completed the Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications certification from Microsoft. Moving forward, in 2020 they obtained the MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2020 certification also from Microsoft, as well as the Machine Learning certification from Stanford Online.

Continuing their professional development, Elias obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2020, they achieved the Exam 483: Programming in C# certification, followed by the MCSD: App Builder — Certified 2021 certification and the Exam 487: Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services certification, both obtained in 2021. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
