Prasad Bhat

Prasad Bhat has a diverse work experience. Prasad started their career at Aerosat Project, IISc in 2009 as a Project Lead, where they focused on designing a micro-satellite for a marine turtle tracking application. In 2012, they co-founded Streamoid Technologies and served as the Chief Technology Officer, working on visual search technology and developing cutting-edge video technology solutions. In 2014, they joined Texas Instruments as a Consultant until 2016. Currently, Prasad holds the position of Chairman and CTO at Astrome Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which they joined in 2015.

Prasad Bhat has an extensive education history, primarily focusing on computer science and engineering. Prasad began their academic journey at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from 2001 to 2005.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Prasad enrolled at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to continue their education. From 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree at IISc, specializing in various subjects such as Probability Theory, Machine Learning, Optimization, Linear Systems, and Game Theory.

Building upon their foundational knowledge, Prasad then embarked on a doctoral program at IISc. Prasad pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Automation, from 2008 to 2012. This further solidified their expertise and research abilities in the aforementioned field.
