Dave O'Connor

Dave O'Connor is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and site reliability across multiple industries. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Astronomer, O'Connor previously held the role of Freelance Technologist at Co-Servant Systems before leading production engineering at Twilio. O'Connor also served as Sr. Director of Engineering at Elastic, managing global reliability for Elastic Cloud, and held significant positions at Google, including Engineering Director for Site Reliability Engineering in Ireland, where foundational aspects of Google's storage and database infrastructure were developed. O'Connor's educational background includes a B.Sc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University and a Professional Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from Kingstown College.
