Brian Kruse

Director, Teacher Learning Center And Formal Education Programs at Astronomical Society of the Pacific

Brian Kruse is a seasoned educator and administrator with extensive experience in science education and professional development. Currently serving as the Director of the Teacher Learning Center at the Astronomical Society of the Pacific since December 2009, Brian manages a variety of formal education programs, including the Project ASTRO National Network and the ASP Summer Astronomy Institute. Additionally, as a Science Education Consultant with Astroteacher Education, Brian provides expertise on Next Generation Science Standards and integrates NASA content into educational curricula. Previous roles include Director for Region F at the National Science Education Leadership Association and various teaching positions, where Brian developed inquiry-based science curricula and coordinated multiple educational initiatives. Brian holds a Master of Science degree in Natural and Applied Science from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Physics, and Philosophy from Whitworth University, among other teaching credentials.
