Geoffrey Blanchette

Geoffrey Blanchette is a versatile Media Design Engineer at Astro-Med, Inc. since April 2014, and a Lead Writer for the Audio Visual Artists Society since August 2016, focusing on screenplay development. With a rich background in theater, Geoffrey has acted in multiple productions at Stage Door Theater, including significant roles in "Discarded" and "Jessica and the Music Box," as well as serving as a prop master. Additionally, Geoffrey has freelance writing experience and has worked as a lab monitor at the Writing Rhode Island Production Lab, overseeing technical resources and assisting students. Former positions include writing tutor at the URI Writing Center, research assistant at the University of Rhode Island, and copyediting intern. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Writing and Rhetoric from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 2013.
