Catherine Fields

Catherine Fields possesses extensive experience in statistical analysis and research within the sports and healthcare industries. Currently serving as the Manager of International Analysis for the Houston Astros since January 2017, Catherine has held various roles within the organization, including Program Manager and Manager of Research. Prior to her tenure at the Astros, Catherine contributed to the Washington Nationals as an intern in Baseball Operations Research and Development and worked as a Statistical Analyst at BioStat Solutions, Inc., delivering data-driven insights for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Educationally, Catherine holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Texas Tech University, supplemented by teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and research internships at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
