Andreea Maria Balan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andreea Maria started their career as a Software Test Engineer at MIND CTI in July 2007 and worked there until March 2009. During this time, they performed document analysis, designed test plans and test cases, and conducted comprehensive tests.
Following their time at MIND CTI, Andreea joined Nik Software, Inc. in May 2009 as a QA Engineer. Their responsibilities included reviewing and contributing to test plans, analyzing test requirements, designing test cases, and setting up the test environment. Andreea Maria continued working at Nik Software, Inc. until November 2012.
Andreea then joined Google in November 2012 as a Product Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for setting up the test environment, executing test cases, reporting and tracking defects, analyzing product areas for automated tests, and implementing them in Python with Sikuli. Andreea Maria worked at Google until June 2017.
Most recently, Andreea is employed at ASTRUM IT GmbH as a Java Software Developer. Andreea Maria started in March 2018 and continues to work in this role.
Andreea Maria Balan has a solid education background in the field of computer science and informatics. Andreea Maria first attended the "Grigore Moisil" Informatics High School from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their high school diploma. Afterward, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Informatics at the Faculty of Computer Science - "Ioan Al. Cuza" University of Iasi.
In addition to their formal education, Andreea Maria Balan has also earned two additional certifications. In December 2011, they obtained the ISTQB-ISEB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Later, in December 2017, they became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer, certified by Oracle. These certifications reflect their dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field.
