Nick Mooyman

Nick Mooyman has a wealth of experience in the technology and security industries. Nick is the CEO and Founder of Astute Access, an enterprise smart lock solutions company. With offices in Auckland, Nelson, Sydney, and Melbourne, Astute Access aims to simplify access to traditional locking systems by utilizing a user's mobile phone. Prior to founding Astute Access, Nick was the Co-Founder and Product Director of iDefigo Group, a company that specializes in IoT, Security, and AI. They provide surveillance solutions that are easy to purchase, install, configure, and manage. Additionally, Nick has owned Mooyman Enterprises Ltd since 2006.

Nick Mooyman attended the University of Otago from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPhEd). In 2005, they enrolled in the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) to study Professional Legal Studies, which led to their admission to the NZ High Court as a Barrister & Solicitor. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Transaction from Influential U in 2022.
