Kohei Nishiwada

Kohei Nishiwada is the Founder and CEO of Asuene, where development is focused on "Asuzero," a cloud service for CO2 emissions calculation and disclosure, aimed at fostering a better world for future generations. Under Nishiwada's leadership, Asuene was recognized in Forbes Japan 100 and received the Forbes Rising Star Award in 2021. Prior to founding Asuene, Nishiwada held the position of Manager in the Infrastructure Projects Business Unit of the New Business Development Division at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. from April 2009 to October 2019, where responsibilities included business development, venture investment, mergers and acquisitions, and renewable energy projects across various countries. Nishiwada holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Commerce with a focus on Management from Keio University, completed in 2009, and attended Keio Academy of New York from 2001 to 2004.
