Corey Somers

Corey Somers serves as the Public Sector Leader - Federal at Red Hat since August 2023. Corey has an extensive background in technology and consulting, holding the position of Executive Board Member for ASUG's Ottawa Chapter since May 2020, where efforts focus on providing support to SAP application users. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Modernization Executive at IBM, specializing in cybersecurity and cloud solutions, and as Director of Consulting Services at Bell, managing public sector accounts and delivering various strategic and IT solutions. Corey has also held multiple business development roles, with a strong foundation in enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management across various organizations. Educational achievements include certifications in technical sales, SAP, and VoIP.
