David Harris

David Harris is a Senior Vice President at ASU+GSV Summit, focusing on higher education and program development. With extensive experience in the education sector, Harris held leadership roles at organizations such as WebAssign, John Wiley and Sons, and Cengage Learning. As the Editor-in-Chief at OpenStax, an innovative initiative at Rice University, Harris drives efforts to improve student access to quality learning resources while exploring the intersections of AI, academic integrity, and productive struggle. Harris also serves as a Senior Fellow at the American Association of Colleges and Universities and is pursuing a BA in International Finance and Asian Studies at the University of Connecticut.
