Kinga Orban

Manager, Corporate PMO at Asurint

Kinga Orban has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kinga began their career at Babcock & Wilcox as a Planner Scheduler, where they developed and managed project schedules for boiler component replacement projects. Kinga then transitioned to the role of Estimator, where they utilized their mathematics, engineering, and analytical skills to prepare cost estimates for project proposals.

In 2011, Kinga joined Diebold Nixdorf, initially as an Associate Project Manager. Kinga successfully oversaw the implementation of remote monitoring projects and managed the delivery of Diebold services projects. Kinga later became a Project Manager, where they played an active role in the formation of a single unified project management office. Their responsibilities included participating in governance committees, creating and maintaining metrics, and providing project management expertise and leadership on process improvement projects. Kinga then moved on to become a Senior Project Manager and ultimately served as a Business Process Manager at Diebold Nixdorf.

Since 2019, Kinga has been working at Asurint as a Manager of IT PMO, where they served as a Program Manager over a strategic re-platforming initiative. Their role included project governance planning and oversight, as well as coaching on project management processes and best practices. Currently, they hold the position of PMO Manager, Corporate Strategy and Product at Asurint. In this role, they provide program level oversight for key and strategic corporate initiatives, leads process improvement workshops, and manages subsequent projects across the organization.

Throughout their career, Kinga Orban has demonstrated strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in process improvement.

Kinga Orban has a solid education history. Kinga earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Youngstown State University, which they attended from 1999 to 2004. Kinga then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Youngstown State University from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Kinga also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate in DMAIC from Villanova University. This certification was obtained in 2014.

Kinga Orban has also gone beyond their academic qualifications by obtaining additional certifications. Kinga obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from New Horizons in June 2017, and they acquired the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2013.
