Andy Luther is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and data science. Currently serving as an Advisor Partner at Asymmetric since September 2021, Andy previously held the position of Head of Engineering at UpSmith from October 2022 to October 2024. At Indigo, Andy advanced from Lead Data Science Engineer to Senior Director of Software Engineering, where responsibilities included leading the Marketplace Platform Engineering and building data science teams that collaborated with various operational units. Prior to Indigo, Andy worked at Catalant Technologies as Principal Software Engineer for Data Science, leading a full-stack data science team. Earlier experience includes roles at Amazon Robotics, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Alion Science and Technology, encompassing simulation development, labor capacity planning, and 3-D flight simulation software. Andy holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Auburn University.
